Running for freedom

Running for freedom
Under the banner of ‘Free Kamira Nait Sid and all Kabylian prisoners of conscience’, the Amazigh World Congress and the Union of Kabylian Women invite all justice-loving people to take part in the ‘Run for Freedom’ cross-country run organised by Amnesty International on 9 June 2024 at the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Paris-19ᵉ, starting at 9am.
The aim of our participation in this sporting and solidarity event is to raise public awareness of the situation of Kamira Nait Sid, as well as all Kabylian prisoners of conscience in Algeria.
Kamira Nait Sid, a human rights activist and fervent defender of the Amazigh cause, has been in prison since 24 August 2021 for having courageously pleaded for Amazigh rights, human rights, freedom, and justice. By taking part in this run, we want to show our solidarity with her and with all those who, like her, are unjustly detained for their beliefs.
Come and take part in this solidarity event, on your own, in a group of friends or with your family.
