United States: Two Kabyles attacked by Algerianists during the celebration of the Berber New Year

OHIO, COLUMBUS, USA.
On January 14, 2023, during the celebration of the Amazigh New Year in the State of Ohio, in the United States by the Kabyle community of Columbus, in which an artistic concert was organized, a physical attack was committed against two Kabyles who wanted to attend this event by brandishing the Kabyle flag.
We regret this unfortunate act that took place in a celebration that should be cheerful and festive, and we condemn this act of violence which unfortunately led the police and paramedics to intervene.
Indeed, this savage and inhuman act was committed by individuals who fled unemployment, repression, and dictatorship in Algeria to come and live in a land of FREEDOM who, after their settlement, begin to harm the values of the country of adoption.
Thus, we want to mention that the United States is not Algeria. If Algeria criminalizes all forms of freedom of expression, the United States defends, protects, and guarantees freedom of speech.
Carrying or waving any flag in this kind of demonstration is not illegal; on the contrary, it is an act guaranteed and protected by the 1st Amendment of the American Constitution insofar as it relates to freedom of expression.
To this end, the victims of this excess intend to sue their attackers to assert their rights as American residents and citizens.
