The Tunisian choreographer and theater director Néjib Khalfallah assaulted by salafists because of his play entitled “Alhakom Attakathour”, an expression taken from a verse of the Koran.

The imam of the mosque Sidi Lakhmi in Sfax, Ridha Jouadi, called in his preach last Friday for the intervention of the people, the public prosecutor, the deputies and the state to ban this masquerade. He described as “very serious” the choice of a Qur’anic verse as the title of a sexist play, according to his sayings.

“In addition to a photo of the play contrary to morals !! Where is the prosecutor of the Republic? Where is the justice ? Where is the state? Where is the Muslim people? Where are the Imams? Where are the Muslim MPs? ” Asked the Imam before the faithful extremists.

A few days later, under the pressure of the ushers and the court, under death threat, the director finally changed the name of his play into French, “Fausse couche” (Miscarriage), and did apologize to the judges.

In spite of this he was assaulted at his house by “Takfirists” who massacred him with blows of iron bar. The aggressors did not steal anything from the artist. This confirms that the aggression is based on “Vengeance for attacking Islam”.
