Rat-ma-dan (with a Cuban accent) is not only a curse, it’s worse than that… it’s useless. And the word ‘useless’ is more useful than Ramadan itself.
When you ask a Muslim why we should observe rat-mad-an (with a Norwegian accent), the answer is “so that the rich feel what the poor feel all year round”. To this I say, that’s very honorable and thoughtful of you, but “what are the poor doing this month?” and then comes the usual babble that Islam excels in. They even have universities that teach “babble”. They must have confused the angel Gabriel with the angel “Gibbrish”. Well – then they start muttering things like “ina…yaani…qal…sabhanou…inchallah, hamdoulilah” before suddenly rushing at your throat and scolding “you are a pagan, a devil, a Zionist…a Kabyle”. Faced with such ferocity, I take two steps back and suggest something like “…why not – this month – let the rich leave their villas and the key to the safe, so that the poor can experience “being rich” for a month”. They then pretend to consider this suggestion for a 10 second period of time (Muslims are not capable of logical thinking (this is not bias, but a fact)). Then they look confused before reopening their “babble manual” and launching into another endless, useless, unhelpful and incomprehensible, ….
Well, I’ll stop here. I have better things to do than write about Ramadan. I just want to say; Islam is not a religion, but a sect that has degenerated. But you all know that already.
