Israeli prime minister supports creation of independent Kurdish state

On the 12th of September, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah, announced in a statement his country support the creation of a state for the Kurds.This announcement by the Israeli state came a few days before the referendum for the independence of “Iraqi Kurdistan”, which will take place on the 25th of September.

Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked also spoke for the independence of the Kurdistan region, saying that “the time has come for the United States to support this process.”

As a reminder, the Kabyle Provisional Government voted in favor of the referendum on self-determination of “Iraqi Kurdistan”: “Kabylie welcomes the event and supports its initiators” wrote the Presidency of Anavad, Ferhat Mehenni, in a statement .
