On the occasion that we enter the new year, my thoughts go to those who cant’t eat to get full, those who walk barefoot in the snow, those who are suffering in jails as a result of Arab- Muslim totalitarianism. A thought for all women who live with men who do not deserve their wife, sister or daughter. A thought for sick people to whom I hope for a fast recovery. A thought for widows and orphans. I hope that in 2018, independent thoughts and freedom of speech will be strengthened and, that the disappearance of Islamists everywhere, continues. The new year, Yennayer, for the imazighen will be celebrated in 13 days. For this reason, I wish our people:The unity reinforced with a sense of pride, not for what we have done, but for what we intend to do in the future. I am convinced that in the next few years we will again walk in the footsteps of our brilliant ancestors.
Happy new year !, Assuggas Amgaz!
