The President of the Movement for the Self-determination of Kabylie and Anavad, Mr. Ferhat MEHENNI, was the guest of Ivan RIOUFOL on the French channel CNews, this Sunday, October 2 at 8:00 p.m.
While everything was ready with the hosts of the program a few minutes before the President’s visit and the first part of it had begun with the announcement of his intervention in the second part, an envoy from the channel came to announce to the President , in the dressing room at 8:18 p.m., that he had received a call from management asking him to inform us of the pure and simple cancellation of the intervention of the President of Anavad, scheduled for 8:30 p.m. although it had been announced at the start of the show, a saying that the invitation would be renewed shortly. The Animator himself, Mr. Rioufol learned it at the end of the first part and did not understand, himself, the reasons for this sudden cancellation by affirming that he had never seen this before.
In the current state of things, it is the television channel CNews which is required to reveal the true motivations of this reversal. That being the case, and according to our information, the Algerian regime would not have hesitated to put in the balance the visit, in a few days, of the French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, or even the calling into question of contracts and agreements to come and almost recorded between Paris and Algiers.
The MAK and the Anavad remain vigilant and determined to defend, whatever the cost, the inalienable right of the Kabyle people to their self-determination.
