ANTI-KABYLIAN RACISM: SOME ELOQUENT STATEMENTS

A brief reminder of a morbid reality for all Kabyles and for the attention of traitors, cowards and those suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

1-/ Let’s go back to the nationalist movement
Dispossession of the Kabyles from the leadership of the ENA, which they had built by the combined action of Baathism and the Muslim brothers (Ulema): the latter vociferated: ‘Islam is my religion, Arabic is my language, Algeria is my homeland’.
Memorandum submitted in 1948 to the United Nations excluding any reference to Amazighity and a fortiori to Kabylity under the benevolent eye of France’s Arab policy.
The Amazigh languages, and of course the most prominent of them all, Kabyle, are said to have been invented by the White Fathers. Kabyle, a fantasy, a myth! The Kabyles, ‘D araw n i papasen’.
2/- On 14 April 1962, the day after independence was usurped by a military coup led by the border armies, Ben Bella returned from the country of ‘big brother Nacer’, Egypt, and declared to bursting gullets on the tarmac at Tunis airport: ‘We are Arabs, Arabs, Arabs, 10 million Arabs! ‘to the point of annoying President Habib Bourguiba, who nonetheless admired and/or claimed to be Prince Jugurtha.
In a speech delivered on 5 July 1963, he declared: ‘There is no future for this country other than in Arabism’.
In another speech on 19 September 1963, he said: ‘The Algerian nation has firmly determined to be a Maghreb nation, sparing no effort to build the Arab Maghreb. […] . Algeria has also defined itself as an Arab nation.
3/- In 1974, Abdelhamid Hadjar, a Baathist from the boumediéniste seraglio, warned in an article in the newspaper El-Moudjahid: ‘I will make any Algerian who does not recognise himself in the Arab-Islamic identity a foreigner in this country’.
4/- The ‘zero kabyle policy for 2019’, organised and assumed at the highest levels of the state, which means an assumed genocide of the Kabyle people.
4/ The 2020-2021 period
Several declarations of deadly hostility towards the Kabyle people and calls of a fundamentally racist and anti-Kabyle nature have been made by deputies, senators and influential members of Algerian Arab-Islamic society under the benevolent eye of the state authorities. This is all the more striking given that they do so in the course of their duties within Algerian institutions.
For the record, as a reminder and to share with all those who fight for Kabylian identity, here are a few quotes, to mention just a few, which arouse indignation and anger, all the more so because they not only go unpunished, but in some cases are actually carried out.
*** 04/03/2020 : Naima Salhi, Algerian MP and President of the Party of Equity and Proclamation (Arab-Islamic) campaigns against the Kabyles whom she calls ‘ezouafes’ i.e. the French army’s auxiliaries in total ignorance of history, with complete impunity, giving free rein to her hatred and racism on all Algerian television platforms, going so far as to call for the extermination of the Kabyles whom she describes as ‘Jews of the worst kind’.
*** 24/07/2020: From London, the Algerian leader of the Rachad party, Mohamed Larbi Zitout, calls on Algerians to ‘take up arms against the separatist Kabyles of the MAK’.
*** 20/04/2021: Senator Abdelouahab Benzaïm, commonly known as the Yiène, goes to great lengths to describe Kabylia as ‘a cancerous tumour, dangerous for the Algerian social body, which must be removed’. He added: ‘One day, which is not far off, we will eradicate all these cancerous tumours that are eating away at the body of a united nation’.
*** 20/04/2021: Said Bensdira, an agent of the Algerian services, calls from London for the extermination of the Kabyles and dreams of eradicating Kabylia: ‘’If I ever have power, I’ll make an appeal on the 8pm news and I’ll tell the Kabyles, especially those in Tizi Ouzou and Béjaïa: I’m going to ask all citizens who reject the ideas and ideology of the MAK separatists to leave Kabylia within 24 hours, leaving the separatists and their supporters behind. I will then exterminate all those who remain in Kabylia’.
Bensdira also announced that Kabylia would be burnt to the ground. The arson attacks took place in August 2021 and the following years.
*Article 87 bis was promulgated to declare the whole of Kabylia a terrorist zone, before limiting the notion to Kabylian militants and anyone with an opinion critical of the official ideology. Official Algerian television called the whole of Kabylia terrorist. Violence, terror, imprisonment, kidnapping, death sentences (the Larvaa Nat Yiraten affair), forced and even programmed exile, a ban on leaving the country, military and police encirclement (more than a third of the forces are stationed in Kabylia), population replacement and, the icing on the cake, a ban on calling oneself Kabylian, will be the daily lot of the Kabylian people, hunted down to the very last corner.
* In full knowledge of the facts, a handful of Kabyles remain deaf to these appeals, generally people from lower social or societal ranks who seek to take their revenge on society (I refer the reader to the perception of TIRUGZA within Kabyle society) or to childhood psychology (abuse or trauma in childhood) act in the direction of the destructuring of their society and, consequently, of their own being, programmed by the Algerian regime. Instead of warding off this unspeakable thing, this slimy, nauseating web that is dripping and spreading over Kabyle society in order to engulf it, these people are indulging in their unworthy attitude as puppets of power, of a power that vomits out their existence, in this deconstruction of the identity of a people, an identity, a thousand-year-old memory through a genocidal policy.
To the submissive, the traitors and the cowards, the seal of shame before history will forever fix you in the memory of the free Kabyle people of tomorrow. The liberation of Kabylia is a fact of history. Perhaps you don’t know? You will have nowhere to go. Your master today hates you more than anything; he knows that he cannot trust a traitor,
To the so-called democrats, politicians and intellectuals stricken with Stockholm syndrome, who have never seen or said anything about the bruising in Kabylia,
Ernesto Che Guevara said: ‘You begin to die when you begin to remain silent in the face of injustice’. Worse still for you, the traitor, you are participating in your own death. In a way, your fate has been decided.
