Algeria: Brutal arrest of Kabyle militant independentists

Several activists were arrested this morning by the algerian colonial forces in Tizi-Ouzou. Others were arrested last night as they prepared for the unitary assembly of the Kabyle forces to be held on Wednesday morning.
The activist members of MAK-anavad, URK, the Kabyle League of Human Rights and the Amazigh World Congress have been apprehended by the colonial forces in several regions of Kabylia.
Bouaziz Ait Chebib, former president of the MAK and founding member of the URK was arrested this morning in Michelet and transferred to a police station in Tizi-Ouzou. 4 MAK activists were also arrested yesterday. Another activist from Bgayet was also arrested.
The colonial forces arrested these activists to prevent their demonstration for the liberation of activists who carried the Amazigh and Kabyle flag.
